The Health Sciences Education Program (HSEP) was founded in 2015 on the principles of education and empowerment. We promote healthy living through leading lessons on relevant health topics for K-12 students in surrounding neighborhoods. By presenting lessons at schools in the community, we seek to empower students with the knowledge necessary for them to take their health into their own hands. As we engage them in the health sciences, we hope to instill in them scientific curiosity and the confidence that they can utilize evidence-backed practices to further their health.
 
HSEP also strives to organize events on campus to engage fellow USC students in discussions about various health issues, especially those important on a college campus.
